Swimming, kayaking, snorkelling, eating - we did it all. I think I might need another holiday to recover but it was well worth it.
A floating hotel room, essentially. It was really nice, not so anoymous as resorts, and being able to move the boat around and swim whenever you liked was great.
My sailing friends wanted to charter a boat in Mauritius. Instead, I persuaded them to book a couple of cabins on a catamaran sailing week. We had an itinerary (but we didn't absolutely have to stick to it), we made friends with other couples on board and we didn't have to worry about looking after the boat or finding moorings. It worked out cheaper too. I will always go back to sailing but it was so good to have a holiday with nothing to worry about and time to catch up with old friends and read my book.
